Terms of Use

1. Provider and acceptance

These Terms form the agreement between you and GreeksData for use of the website, customer portal and API. You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required to enter into a binding agreement where you live. By creating an account or completing a purchase, you confirm that you can enter into this agreement and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy.

2. The service

GreeksData provides authenticated access to structured market data, including options-related datasets. The service is intended for software integration and informational use. Market data can be delayed, stale, incomplete, unavailable or corrected after publication.

GreeksData does not provide investment, legal, tax or financial advice. You remain responsible for validating data and for every trading, investment or operational decision made using the service.

3. One-time purchase and access period

• Each purchase is a single, non-recurring payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
• A confirmed purchase provides the number of consecutive access days shown for the selected plan before checkout, measured in UTC from the access start timestamp and recorded with the payment.
• The period begins only after an authenticated Stripe webhook confirms successful payment. A browser redirect or payment screen alone does not activate access.
• A new purchase is available only after the current access period expires. Early renewal, plan stacking and adding time to an active period are not offered.
• After expiry, you may purchase the same available plan or choose another available plan. The new period starts after that new payment is confirmed.

The checkout shows the selected plan, daily limit, currency and total price before payment. Plans and prices may change for future purchases without prior notice, but a later change does not alter a purchase already confirmed.

4. Daily request allowance

Each plan includes the daily request limit shown before checkout. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC every day. Unused requests expire at reset and do not accumulate, roll over, convert to credit or extend the access period.

Requests are counted according to the current API guide. When the daily allowance is exhausted, metered requests remain unavailable until the next UTC reset or until the access period ends, whichever occurs first.

5. Account and API key

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and keep your API key confidential. One API key is maintained per customer account. The complete key is displayed only when issued; GreeksData stores a one-way hash and a limited prefix for validation and identification.

Rotating, revoking or deleting a key invalidates the previous credential after synchronization with the API access database. You are responsible for promptly rotating a key that may have been exposed.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to bypass authentication or daily limits, interfere with service operation, probe systems without authorization, share a key publicly, use the service unlawfully, or use automated activity that is abusive or materially harms other users. We may suspend API access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse or comply with law.

7. Cancellation, refunds and disputes

GreeksData provides a voluntary 7-calendar-day full-refund guarantee only for the first successfully confirmed payment on a customer account. Later purchases do not qualify for this voluntary guarantee. Requests must be sent to support@greeksdata.com. Refunds may still be provided when required by applicable law, for a duplicate or incorrect charge, or for a verified service failure. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Any partial or full refund cancels the entire access period related to that payment. Unused days or requests are not preserved. A chargeback or payment dispute also cancels the related access period, but the chargeback alone does not block the website account. Full operational details are in the Refund Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the website and API available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party failures, market closures, upstream data issues and events outside reasonable control can affect availability or freshness.

We may update endpoints, documentation, security requirements and these Terms. Material changes apply prospectively and will be communicated through the website, customer portal or account contact details when appropriate.

9. Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees of fitness for a particular trading or investment result. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and contact

The governing law and competent courts are determined by the legal location of the service provider identified above. This does not remove mandatory consumer or data-protection rights available in your country of residence, including any forum that applicable law requires.
