The first successfully confirmed payment on a customer account may be cancelled within 7 calendar days for a full refund.
1. Purchase model
GreeksData sells one-time access periods whose duration is shown for each plan before checkout. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Access begins after Stripe confirms payment through an authenticated webhook.
2. First-payment cancellation guarantee
GreeksData allows cancellation of the first successfully confirmed payment on a customer account within 7 calendar days counted from payment confirmation. An eligible request receives a full refund to the original payment method, without a cancellation fee. Later purchases do not qualify for this voluntary guarantee. If mandatory local law provides a longer period or additional remedies, the more protective mandatory rule remains available.
To request cancellation, email support@greeksdata.com from the address registered to your account and include the payment reference visible in Payment history. We will confirm receipt through an electronic channel.
3. Effect of a refund on access
Any refund recorded for a payment — partial or full — cancels the entire access period created by that payment. Cancellation is not proportional: a partial refund does not preserve part of the access period, unused days or unused daily requests.
The cancellation is applied after the authenticated Stripe event is processed and synchronized with the API authorization database.
4. Later purchases and requests outside the window
Later purchases and requests made after the first payment's 7-day guarantee do not qualify for an automatic or prorated refund for unused days or unused requests. We may still approve a refund when required by the law applicable to the customer, for a duplicate or incorrect charge, or when a verified service failure justifies it. Mandatory legal remedies remain available.
5. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are submitted through Stripe to the original payment method. The time for the credit to appear is controlled by Stripe, the card network and the financial institution. GreeksData cannot convert the refund into API credit or send it to a different payment method.
6. Chargebacks and payment disputes
A chargeback or payment dispute cancels the access period related to that payment. The dispute alone does not block or delete the GreeksData website account. Separate restrictions may apply only if there is independent evidence of fraud, security abuse or another violation of the Terms of Use.
7. Failed or cancelled checkout
A checkout that is cancelled, expires or fails before payment confirmation does not grant access. If no charge was completed, there is no amount to refund. You may cancel an open checkout from its Payment status page and choose another available plan.
8. Contact
Send refund or cancellation requests to support@greeksdata.com. Include the registered account email and payment reference, but never send a full card number or card security code.
